The DoCCFS are seeking applications to the post of full time Family Worker (Fixed Term contracts) for placement on our Assessment Team in North Dublin
The Daughters of Charity Child and Family Service (DoCCFS) is a not for profit public service organisation. We provide a range of therapeutic supportive services to children and families, based in the greater Dublin region. The Service works in collaboration with TUSLA Child and Family Agency local areas in Dublin North and North City, East and Dublin Mid Leinster.
Our Services include an Early Childhood Development Service (ECDS), Family Centre Service, Dublin Safer Families Service and Assessment Services.
Candidates must be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline e.g. Social Work or Social Care) and must have a minimum of two years’ experience in working with children and families Successful candidates will carry out initial Child Protection and Welfare assessments on behalf of Tusla using the Signs of Safety framework. Full training in the model will be provided. Experience with SOS model would be a distinct advantage
Experience using mechanisms to evaluate the outcome of work and experience using file keeping software (e.g. Salesforce) will give a distinct advantage.

Successful applicants will be placed on a panel from which current and future appointments will be made. The panel will be valid for twelve months.

Salary scale for the role is 40,452 – 57,438
