The DoCCFS are seeking applications to the

post of full-time Childcare Worker in our

Early Childhood Development Centre



The Daughters of Charity Child and Family Service (DoCCFS) is a not-for-profit public service organisation. We provide a range of therapeutic supportive services to children and families, based in the greater Dublin region. The Service works in collaboration with TUSLA Child and Family Agency local areas in Dublin North and North City, East and Dublin Mid Leinster.

Our Services include an Early Childhood Development Service (ECDS), Family Centre Service, Dublin Safer Families Service and Assessment Services.


Based in our ECDS the successful candidates will have responsibility for the education and development of children in our care. Experience delivering education to Aistear and Siolta standards will be essential. Experience in High Scope will be a distinct advantage.

Reporting to the ECDS Manager you will have attained a FETAC Level 6, 7 or 8 childcare qualification.


Experience using mechanisms to evaluate the outcomes of work and experience using file-keeping software (e.g. Salesforce) will give a distinct advantage.

post of full time Family Worker (Fixed Term contracts)


The Daughters of Charity Child and Family Service (DoCCFS) is a not-for-profit public service organisation. We provide a range of therapeutic supportive services to children and families, based in the greater Dublin region. The Service works in collaboration with TUSLA Child and Family Agency local areas in Dublin North and North City, East and Dublin Mid Leinster.

Our Services include an Early Childhood Development Service (ECDS), Family Centre Service, Dublin Safer Families Service and Assessment Services.


Candidates must be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline and must have a minimum of two years’ experience providing therapeutic support to families and ideally to children (4-18 years). Additional qualifications in provision of therapeutic supports will be a distinct advantage.


Experience using mechanisms to evaluate the outcome of work and experience using file keeping software (e.g. Salesforce) will give a distinct advantage.

Successful applicants will be placed on a panel from which current and future appointments will be made. The panel will be valid for twelve months.


Salary scale for the role is €37,383 – €53,080
