Family Worker

South Co. Dublin – Jobstown and surrounding area

(Full Time - Fixed Term contract)

 

 

The Daughters of Charity Child and Family Service (DoCCFS) is a not-for-profit public service organisation. We provide a range of therapeutic supportive services to children and families, based in the greater Dublin region. The Service works in collaboration with TUSLA Child and Family Agency local areas in Dublin North and North City, East and Dublin Mid Leinster.


Our Services include an Early Childhood Development Service (ECDS), Family Centre Service, Dublin Safer Families Service and Assessment Services.


Candidates must be educated to degree level in a relevant therapeutic discipline and must have a minimum of two years’ experience providing therapeutic support to families and ideally to children (4-18 years). Additional qualifications in provision of therapeutic supports will be a distinct advantage.


Experience using mechanisms to evaluate the outcome of work and experience using file keeping software (e.g. Salesforce) will give a distinct advantage.

Salary scale for the role is €37,383 – €53,080.


Successful candidates will benefit from ongoing investment in training and development; will have regular professional supervision and will be eligible for benefits such as competitive salary, credit union scheme and health insurance group scheme. A full valid driving licence is required.
