Children Resources

Children and teenagers express their feelings and emotions differently to adults. Depending on their ages and stages is how they will communicate what is happening in their world. It is up to adults to look and listen for the clues and to help children to express themselves. For children and teenagers who have suffered any type of trauma, research would state that the brain is affected and this can lead to a difficulty in the areas of emotional expression, behaviours, sensory processing, concentration and relationship building and sustaining those relationships.
